PADI Open Water Scuba Certification
If you're interested in scuba diving lessons in the East Texas region, we have the scuba training you need. Chris Sidnell offers all PADI diving courses from Open Water through Dive Master. If you're looking to become a certified diver, getting certified is just a few simple steps, and you're on your way to enjoying the fun and splendor of the underwater world.
Chris also offers training for those who are already certified and looking to hone their skills with a specialty course or interested in going pro and becoming a divemaster.
The Process of Learning to Scuba Dive
The beginning diver must master the science that governs scuba in order to understand the limitations nature places on the diver, and the equipment required. Academics can be completed in a classroom with a book, or an Online Training Program that allows you to work at your own pace.
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank.
Here is where the real fun begins. Students learn how to set up and adjust their equipment and how to handle it underwater. You'll learn how to become weightless and fly, at will, in any direction. The feeling will give a new definition to the word "Awesome".
3 Pool Training
When you're fitted with your scuba equipment you can begin your pool training. Your instructor, Chris Sidnell, will put into practice the techniques you learned in the academics program. Your training dives will be logged and approved before you move on to open water.
4Open Water Training
Get ready to experience everything you've learned with the freedom of open water. You'll be executing skill exercises and touring the ocean underwater environment. You'll see how easy and fun it is to fly over the landscape in a fluid sky, and be amazed by how much life and color there is to see.
